The School Membership
Coordinator is Jessica Lambert. Mrs.
Lambert has been with the APCA since it’s inception in 1994. Her favorite thing
about working for the APCA is that she never feels like it’s a job because she
loves what she does! She enjoys participating in the APCA Serves Projects, the
people she gets to meet, traveling, and all of the laughs and smiles at the
conferences. Jessica enjoys spending time with her family - her husband, Eric
Lambert, and their three amazing kids: Kelly (14), Zachary (12), and Margaret
(8). In her spare time, Jess enjoys gardening, shopping, swimming, and giving
back to her community and various charities.
Phil McAfee has been with the APCA since November of 2007. He is the Vice President of Member Services.
He loves spending time with his amazing wife, Darcy doing anything and/or
nothing. They are expecting their first
baby boy in the fall. He enjoys wakeboarding, hanging out with friends, sports,
and playing board games or video games. He likes working with the APCA because
of the fun, unique, and engaging people. He enjoys the satisfaction of putting
together large events with a small staff. His favorite thing is seeing new
people make a career out of college events and programs. Something interesting
about Phil is that he had stitches three different times as a kid, all on his
face!
Jennifer Haun is the Midwest and Southeast Regional School Membership
Coordinator. She has been with the APCA for a year and a half. Her favorite
thing about her job includes the friendly and fun atmosphere and the teamwork
that is displayed to reach success. She also enjoys APCA conferences where she
is able to see old and new faces, and has the opportunity to make new friends.
Jennifer enjoys seeing APCA conference participants work together to learn
different ways to educate their campuses about current issues in higher
education. She enjoys spending time with her two daughters, Jaysea, 11 and
Chelsea, 16 who plays lacrosse for her high school. Jennifer loves taking
memorable photos during her travels, listening to 80s music, and will be pursuing
three things from her bucket list next summer.
Taylor Brooks is APCA’s
Special Program Coordinator. Brooks has worked with the APCA since 2012. She is
a Gold & Platinum Grammy-award winning
songwriter and has written for the legendary Ray Charles, John Legend,
The Temptations, Steve Winwood and En Vogue to name a few. Her favorite
thing about working with APCA is that she is able
to put her considerable music industry experience
to good use helping professional performers, musicians and artists refine
their skills and get recognized in the campus entertainment business. In
her spare time Taylor enjoys writing, recording, and performing with her band
TaylorMade.
Jondra MarYell Darden is the APCA’s South Central / West School Membership
Coordinator. After graduating from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville (Go
Vols!) she joined the staff in April of 2012. At UT, Jondra was the President
of the Diversity Student Leaders Society and worked with the Athletics and
Admissions Departments. Her favorite things about working with the APCA are meeting new people, the opportunities to
travel, and seeing how conferences inspire students and advisors to make a
difference on their campus and within their communities through programming.
Her hobbies include choreographing, being with friends and family, and watching
basketball. Something interesting about Jondra is she competed around the
country with a baton twirling team until she went to college. Her motto is Love
to Live!
The APCA Office Manager / Bookkeeper is Kam Morton. Kam has been on staff since February of 2012
and her favorite thing about her job is the variety of tasks and speaking with
people from all over the country. She
worked in the ministry for almost fifteen years and is currently a co-owner of
a construction company. She enjoys hanging with her three boys, two of which
are twins: Sawyer (18), Denver and Wyatt (16).
When Kam has free time her hobbies include reading, playing putt-putt, and
going to the beach.
Joseph McMillon is the
APCA’s Media Developer. Joseph recently began working with the APCA and his
favorite thing so far is the diverse staff he is able to work with. In his free
time Joseph enjoys recreational activities, photography, and exercising. Joseph
is big on ministry and has been to Uganda and South Africa on mission trips.
